Ridgefield

Ridgefield neighborhood is one of the well-established, older neighborhoods near the UNC campus in Chapel Hill, NC.  The homes were built mainly during the 1950s and 1960s and are known for older trees, nice lawns - and a great location.   Across the street from University Mall, on highway 15-501, there is easy access to shopping at Dillard's, Dina Porter, Metropolis, A Southern Season, Cameron's, among other popular shops and stores.  Roses offers some of the best UNC memorabilia to be found - at great prices.  For dining, Spice Street is a favorite for a lively night-on-the-town.   The K & W Cafeteria offers southern dishes served-up quickly with a smile.  The ever-popular Harris Teeter is across the street from Ridgefield for grocery shopping.   Roses supplies locals with one of the best sources of UNC memorabilia.  All is across the street from Ridgefield neighborhood.  Briarcliff and Colony Woods are neighborhoods alongside Ridgefield.

The Ridgefield pool is one of the favorites in Chapel Hill but pool membership is not mandatory for living in Ridgefield.

Homesites in Ridgefield are known for older trees and nice yards and range from about a quarter acre lot to just under an acre.  Heated square footage for homes in Ridgefield range from about 1100 square feet to more than 4,000 square feet.  The busline is available and the stop is nearby.

School assignment is Ephesus, Guy Phillips, and East Chapel Hill High School - all in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro School System.
